Can migraine headaches make somebody permanently blind?
I last on a regular basis from migraine headaches with aura (I go blind for about twenty minutes and then my vision returns when the headache begins..) I have just been googling migraine on the intenret and have study that it can make somebody permenantly blind, and can increase the threat of strokes and coma. Is this accurate? I am panicking now due to the fact I last from migraines at least twice a week.

Nicely, you really should have went to the emergency space when this occurred.I’m talking about going blind for a total of 20 minutes.
I know that if I had a migraine(which I have),and went entirely blind for any amount of time…I would clearly go straight to the emergency room…every time that would happen.
And,seeing how you have this take place 2 times a week, and go blind 2 times a week….surly you see your medical doctor,or go proper to the emergency room when this occurs.
This is my recommendations to you. When this happens…go directly to the emergency space to be evaluated as soon as possible.And,also….see your physician in reference to going blind each time you have a migraine…2 times a week.

I can not completely answer your question, but I have had migraines for at least 40 years, but not near as typically as you have. I also have the auras, but mine start like a modest location close to the center of my vision that increases in size as it progresses, and it is outlined somewhat with sparkles. I never have been fully blind, but I also have had components of my body go numb, have temporary memory loss, and as soon as I was unable to recognize what I was reading – I could study the words, but I did not know what the meant. Its like a temporary stroke. The great point is that so far these symptions have usually been temporary. I am a individual of far superior than average intelligence, and a prodigious thinker which annoys me at times. This kind of migraine that we each have is called “classic migraine”. My migraines typically are induced by food problems like monosodium glutamate, too considerably gluten (in cookies, breads, and so forth.), caffeine, too considerably physical anxiety, also considerably emotional stress, just about something that messes with a persons nervous method (that jacks it up). I would advise a medical physician that is nicely versed in treatment for migraines. Even so, I have been undertaking self treatment for years with some final results. You ought to find a physician! The symtoms generally go away, but if I had migraines twice a week, I would become agressive about in search of much more assist soon. I realize what you are going via. Most folks that do not have migraines, just do not understand when you tell about your headaches. John.
